In the UK an average of around 1,600 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, that’s 30 children every week.
And yet, children’s cancer research receives only 4% of Cancer Research UK’s annual budget.
For the past 25 years, we have been funding children’s cancer research in Manchester that is now helping to transform the diagnosis and treatment for children with cancer.
Your contribution is crucial to help continue to make breakthroughs in research and to help get research projects off the ground.
We’d love to work with you to have fun, tell people about our work, and encourage others to join the fight against childhood cancer. Take a look at our fundraising tips to help get you started.
