Rosie's Friends

International Women’s Day

Today, 8 March, is International Women’s Day and to mark this special day, we’re celebrating the fantastic women behind Friends of Rosie.

As a volunteer led charity, we simply couldn’t do what we do without the support of our network of volunteers, Trustees, and scientific advisors. And so today, we want to shout out to all the women within those groups who give their time, commitment and support to Friends of Rosie.

Without them we wouldn’t be able to fund the vital childhood cancer research projects that make a difference to children with cancer.

And most of these fantastic women are giving their time in addition to already very busy lives. As mothers, daughters, and professionals, we know how precious your time is and how many ways that time gets split each week to support and help others. That’s why we want to say a huge thank you to all of these incredible women for being the difference for children with cancer.

So, Happy International Women’s Day – we couldn’t do it without you!
