Rosie's Friends

Feel good festive fundraising

There are lots of ways you can support Friends of Rosie with festive fundraising this season. And, as a volunteer-led charity, you can be sure that a donation to Friends of Rosie will go where it’s needed, funding vital childhood cancer research.

Just contact us at info@friendsofrosie.co.uk to let us know about your festive fundraising and to get a donation box sent to you.

Here are just a few ideas of ways you can get involved this Christmas …

FOR COMPANIES / SCHOOLS / COMMUNITY GROUPS:

Christmas jumper
Christmas jumper day
Support children’s cancer research this Christmas by hosting your own Christmas jumper day. Simply don your best festive jumper and donate to Friends of Rosie. Download your Christmas jumper poster to advertise your event.
Mince pie / Christmas cake contest
Get competitive with your friends and colleagues and hold a festive bake-off. From mouthwatering mince pies to boozy Christmas bakes, a festive cake sale or baking competition is a great way to fundraise and indulge in some delicious treats.
Festive raffle
A raffle is a great chance for your colleagues and visitors to win a few Christmas presents or festive treats for friends and family.
Ask people to donate raffle prizes, sell lots of tickets and hold a fun prize draw to announce the winners.
Christmas quiz
Have some fun with your colleagues or classmates with a Christmas-themed quiz. From the greatest Christmas movie of all time to chart-topping Christmas no. 1s, you can come up with your own quiz questions or check out these Christmas quiz sheets.

FOR INDIVIDUALS:

Giving in lieu of gifts
Instead of giving a gift or sending cards this Christmas, please consider donating to Friends of Rosie and help us fund more vital childhood cancer research. ‘Giving in lieu of a gift’ cards are available – just contact us and we’ll post one to you or email you an E-card.
