Over the last few weeks, Natalie Hansford has been busy training and preparing for the Kenilworth Half Marathon taking place in just 3 days time, right at the start of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Natalie is very kindly fundraising for Friends of Rosie in memory of Gracie, who sadly died earlier this year following a long battle with a rare AT/RT brain tumour.
Says Natalie: “I’m running the Kenilworth Half Marathon after a very long running break! Whilst in itself it’s a huge personal challenge, I am also running in memory of Gracie on behalf of Friends of Rosie to try and raise money for research into childhood cancers and brain tumours.
“Katie, Gracie’s Mum, has asked that any funds I raise go to this fantastic charity who are currently funding research into immunotherapy for the type of rare brain tumour that Gracie had.”
