Great North Swim
Windermere, Lake District, 9th June
Entries for the 2017 Great North Swim are…..NOW OPEN!
Head over to Lake Windermere for the UK’s biggest weekend of open water swimming. On Friday 9 – Sunday 11 June thousands of new and experienced swimmers will grab their goggles, wiggle into their wetsuits for an iconic swim experience.
Altrincham, Manchester, Saturday 1st July
Join us at the Altrincham Festival where we’ll be hosting a stall on the Showground. The Altrincham Festival is a fantastic local community event for all ages with a Grand Parade, fairground, music and entertainment and lots and lots of stalls.
Please come along and support Friends of Rosie and visit our stall. We’ll have plenty to keep the little ones entertained too!
Timperley Country Fair
Lark Hill, Timperley, Saturday 9th September
Friends of Rosie will also be at the Timperley Country Fair hosting a stall and activities to raise awareness of our charity and childhood cancer research in the local community during Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Please come along and visit our stall.
A fantastic full day of activities, from live music and entertainment, lots of stalls to visit and much, much more. A free event for all ages.
Peak District Challenge
Hathersage HQ, Peak District, 22nd / 23rd September
This September, in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness month, are you ready to take on the Peak District Challenge 2017? Choose from one of five hardcore walking/running challenges – Back before dark (10km), copper (25km), bronze (50km), silver (75km) or gold (100km) and test your endurance skills in the stunning Peak District National Park.
Friends of Rosie is a registered charity for the Peak District Challenge so please just select us on the charity drop-down list when you fill out your registration form.
